Todd Swiler Joins Ekornes As Western Regional Sales Manager

Todd Swiler has joined Ekornes Inc. as the company’s western regional sales manager, reporting to president, Peter Bjerregaard. “We are excited to have Todd join the Ekornes team,” says Bjerregaard. “His extensive retail experience will add depth to our management team and will help our sales team expand its reach in our western region market. His strong marketing and leadership skills will be a tremendous asset to our team.” In his new role, Swiler will be responsible for managing and coaching the company’s western regional sales force in order to grow the Ekornes line of products within their territories. Prior to joining Ekornes, Swiler was vice president of retail store and operations for Seasonal Concepts, the nation’s second largest specialty outdoor furniture retailer, where he was responsible for managing a 16-store retail network in seven markets averaging $43 million in annual sales. Before that, Swiler served as Seasonal Concepts’ director of store operations for Christmas on the Mall – the nation’s number one national temporary retail Christmas operation. In this role, he oversaw more than 500 stores with annual sales averaging $7.6 million per season. Swiler began his career with Seasonal Concepts as a store manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Swiler received his bachelor of science in accounting from Western Kentucky University. He is a board member and chair of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Temporary Tenant Conference Committee and a member of the Casual Furniture Retailers Association.
