W.A.C. Lighting Appoints Matthew Wakeham Marketing Director

W.A.C. Lighting Vice President of Marketing Sean Tham has announced the appointment of Matthew Wakeham to Marketing Director. W.A.C. Lighting is a leading designer and manufacturer of track, recessed, undercabinet, decorative and monorail lighting. In his new position, Mr. Wakeham will work closely with Mr. Tham to manage the marketing department, which includes several graphic designers. His primary focus will be on spearheading the firm’s market research efforts to help launch products that fill market needs and build the firm’s customer base. He will also help oversee the firm's advertising and public relations programs, direct mail, and internet marketing efforts. During the past two-plus decades, Mr. Wakeham held several positions for Leviton Manufacturing Company, including Director of Product Development & Marketing for the OEM and Power Quality Divisions. He also worked for Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer. Mr. Wakeham holds a Masters of Arts from the University of Leicester in the UK and a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute. He received the IEEE Standards Association Recognition Award for publishing the test specifications standard for AC power surge protection, and has been granted six patents for electrical products.
