Vermont Tubbs, New England manufacturer of artisan hardwood furniture, announced that it is set to unveil a new selection of American-made designs at the Las Vegas World Market in July. New owners Elwin Wright and brothers Kyle and Adam Tager invite market attendees to view the expressive mix of stunning bench-built furniture. "Las Vegas buyers haven't been exposed to the quality and craftsmanship of Vermont Tubbs since 2003," said Vermont Tubbs Vice President of Sales and Marketing Denise Ogurkis. "We're thrilled to re-introduce the brand this market and the innovative designs in our newest collections." Vermont Tubbs has been handcrafting furniture in New England for more than 168 years. The company, established in 1840 by William F. Tubbs, was originally known for its line of durable handcrafted snow-shoes and skis. Over the years, Vermont Tubbs shifted production to individually bench-made furniture, with a focus on quality, value and sustainability. The company uses its surroundings for inspiration, harvesting all of the wood for manufacturing from responsibly managed forests within 150 miles of the Vermont Tubbs production plant. Wood obtained from the regenerated growth forests makes the company's offerings unique in the marketplace. NEW BEDROOM OFFERINGS: AVERILL BED | A complement to the successful Chelsea Collection, the bench-made Averill bed incorporates a slatted headboard for a contemporary feel. The design is functional with a mattress and box spring, or may be comfortably utilized as a platform bed. Crafted with beautiful New England birch, the Averill bed integrates seamlessly with Chelsea accent pieces. BARNET COLLECTION | A birch wood headboard is decorated with leather accents for the sleek new Barnet platform bed. Artisans create those details in five different leather options and apply color to each piece in four custom finishes. Marrying traditional craftsmanship with modern design, the Barnet Collection offers attractive nightstand and dresser designs with contemporary brushed steel hardware. CORNWALL BED | Crafted with 100% white ash, the Cornwall Bed's steam-bent headboard and footboard achieve an ideal combination of comfort and style. The clean curvature of the slated headboard offers a comfortable and natural backrest for lounging in bed. NEW JUVENILE OFFERINGS: GARDEN GATE BED | The romantic lines of the Garden Gate Diamond Bed create a fairy-tale cottage feel appealing to children and adults alike. With style cues taken from 19th century garden cottage design, the Garden Gate Diamond Bed is created from solid white ash and features hand-hewn and sanded diamond inserts for a trellis-like look. CAVENDISH BED | For the imaginative child, the Cavendish Captain Bed features a classic banister and newel post design with beaded detail, steam-bent ash arcs, and square-turned posts. Handcrafted of 100% ash, the design features four drawers and two shelves for stowing away. STOCKBRIDGE BUNK BED | Stockbridge evokes distinctive, simple style in a bunk construction. Its soft, subtle curves are created with steam-bent ash slats and each piece is finished in a warm, cheery hue. Vermont Tubbs takes pride in the safety features integrated into the manufacturing of every bunk bed, which include steel-barrel bolt fastening systems and full-length guardrails for optimum safety. An optional conversion kit is available to transform bunk beds into two twin beds. NEW MEDIA OFFERINGS: MORGAN MEDIA CENTER | Ample storage space and a minimalist design define the new Morgan Media Center. With grooved detailing and high-polished metal hardware, the Morgan Media Center offers a convenient modular design for customizing spaces both small and large.
