Capel Promotes Coleen Stoutnar To VP Marketing

Capel Incorporated announced the promotion of Colleen Stoutnar to Marketing Manager of the 91-year-old company. Based in Troy, N.C., Capel is America's oldest and largest privately-owned rug manufacturer and importer. Stoutnar holds over 15 years of marketing and sales experience in the home décor and hospitality industries. "We've greatly enjoyed working with Colleen since she joined us almost a year ago and are thrilled to announce her promotion," said Vice President of Marketing Bud Young. "She's spearheaded some very successful projects since her arrival, and we look forward to seeing her excel as a Marketing Manager." "Colleen brings innovation and grit to this position," added Young. "We have established a high standard for excellence in Capel's marketing division and I consider her an ideal candidate to maintain that standard while bringing in new and exciting ideas." Since joining Capel in August 2007, Stoutnar has overseen the marketing of Capel's new earth-friendly Capel Care cleaning product line and has been instrumental in creating and overseeing Capel's trade advertising initiatives. Before joining Capel, Stoutnar oversaw regional sales as the Marketing Coordinator for Starwood Properties in Chicago and the Midwest. Prior to her tenure with Starwood, Stoutnar handled public relations and special events for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
