Brazil Baroque’s company founder and designer, Andrea Fonseca announced that the company will add show-stopping pieces at this summer’s trade show in Las Vegas. The new designs to be added to the line of hand-painted furniture made of recycled and reclaimed Brazilian hardwoods, will be premiered during the Grand Opening of Building C at Las Vegas Market, July 28-August 1, 2008. “Much of our success and growth that has made us the sales leader of our style of Brazilian furniture comes from our commitment to be socially responsible by using green materials combined with the fact that our sturdy pieces are so well-made,” says Fonseca, adding, “We also pride ourselves on our customer service. Our custom orders make up a large part of our business.” Leading the design way is one new “star of the show,” The Palazzo Bed, a stunning reproduction of an 18th century Italian headboard and frame typical of something that might be found in a magnificent Venetian palace. The 96” high headboard is decorated in an antiqued gold leaf motif and there are 26 color finishes to choose from. The fashionable new color, Turquoise Blue, inspired by the good fortune stone which is known for it protective qualities, will be on display. The magnificent bed frame is available in California King, King and Queen dimensions. The Hacienda Hutch, a simple, chic addition to any room, is another star with a new gold leaf finish and black gold accents. Also be on the look out for the Nina Bed, a canopy bed with matching nightstands that will be shown in the new “Rose” shade at the world’s largest furniture trade show. Other popular pieces include the Brazil Baroque Trunk, which can be fitted with a television lift, in the highly popular color “Coconut” and wall windows featuring tranquil, tropical, Colonial Brazil motifs. All designs can be ordered in the wide color range. “We are especially happy at the success of our Colonial Dining Table which comes with a 12” table leaf. Everyone is looking for ways to expand their table for company and special occasions and this is perfect with the holidays coming up,” says Fonseca. Additionally, the Barbacena Dining Table, traditionally 9 x 5 and made of antique woods, can be customized. In addition to new pieces in the collection, signature pieces, including Brazil Baroque’s Colonial Round Table with Half Moon Benches and Colonial Bed in a new sage finish flanked by Colonial Night Stands in a cool, summery mint shade, will be showcased. Accents pieces include the highly popular, hand selected ceramic jars from the Paraiba River region of Brazil that can be ordered unfinished or hand-painted in 26 color motifs. Celebrating eight years in business, Brazil Baroque’s 5,000 square foot showroom is currently located on the 3rd floor of Building C (C322) and is open during regular WMC hours, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., year-round. In November, the company plans to move to C445. For more information, visit www.brazilbaroque.com or call Brazil Baroque at 805.962.8868 or 1.800.622.3876.
