Kathy Ireland Home by Omnia Furniture announced that it will feature fabrics from three nationally and internationally renowned fabric mills at the summer Las Vegas Market, World Market Center Building “A” Space 256. At the January 2008 Las Vegas Market, Kathy Ireland Home by Omnia Furniture unveiled “Toray Ultrasuede” as its first featured upper-end upholstery fabric. Toray Ultrasuede (America), Inc. is part of the Toray Group, a $15 billion corporation started in 1926 with operations in nearly 20 countries around the world. It was the first fashion forward fabric to be completely machine washable and machine dryable. After many years of being used in the fashion industry, it was introduced as a much heavier weight upholstery fabric which enjoyed immediate success. Craftex Mills has a rich tradition of weaving intricate designs in one of the oldest mills in North America. Philadelphia, PA is home to this 105 year old mill. Molteni Tessuti, located near Milano, Italy, is a third generation family-owned company that has been weaving jacquard velvets since 1925.
