DeCoro Appoints Luciano Cassara to Lead Global Sales

DeCoro, a global leader in the manufacture of quality Italian leather upholstered furniture, announced the promotion of Luciano Cassarà from Country Manager for DeCoro Italy to Global Sales Director. In his new role, Mr. Cassarà will drive the sales and marketing activities for DeCoro and he will play a critical role in implementing the Company’s business strategies. He will report to Luca Ricci, DeCoro’s President and Chief Executive Officer, and will be based in the Company’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China. “It is our pleasure to extend this exciting opportunity to Luciano who has been part of the DeCoro family for four years. A 21-year veteran of the furniture industry, Mr. Cassarà was instrumental in the design and implementation of the commercial expansion of DeCoro’s business in Europe. Prior to joining DeCoro, he was General Sales Director for Calia Italia and had previously worked at other Italian furniture design companies. Mr. Cassarà’s creative talent and his eye for design were recognized since the early days of his career in the fashion business, where he worked for Gucci in London and later for Piemme-Valentino in New York. “I am thrilled to take on this new role and to contribute to the future success of DeCoro.
