Zenith Global Joins Forces With Hong Kong's Logistics & Distribution Giant IDS

Home furnishings and accessories supply chain provider Zenith Global Logistics announced that it has forged a new partnership with Hong Kong-based integrated distribution services provider IDS Group, expanding its furniture, lighting and home décor warehousing, logistics and transportation services to 15 ports throughout Asia. “Because our goal is to provide end-to-end global logistics solutions for our home furnishing customers, IDS was the ideal company to partner with in Asia,” states Steve Wolfe, Vice President of Business Development. “Zenith’s partnership with IDS means we can offer our customers seamless supply chain management.” “Zenith’s home furnishings customers can now call on us for complete supply chain management, beginning from their preferred factories in Asia all the way through delivery into the consumer’s home,” Wolfe continues. “Alternately, because our menu of service solutions with IDS is completely flexible, it allows our customers to pick and choose. Customers can select only the services it needs, such as freight consolidation from multiple factories or inventory management and warehousing. This flexibility allows our customers to focus more of their attention and resources to their core business strengths, such as product design, manufacturing, licensing, and marketing.” Zenith’s partnership with IDS also gives home furnishings retailers and manufacturers access to sophisticated logistics technology for tracking inventory and shipment status in real time. “Through IDS’ Trigantic information portal, our customers will have 24/7 access to vital data on things such as delivery aging, inventory levels, shipment status, sales performance and other key performance indicators,” explains Wolfe.
