Cisco Brothers To Manufacture Line by Artist John Derian

After an intense search, accomplished artisan John Derian announced that he has chosen innovative and eco-friendly furniture company Cisco Brothers to manufacture his first-ever furniture collection that will be available across the country starting in October 2008. The John Derian Furniture Collection consists of five pieces and in signature Cisco Brothers-style the pieces are manufactured using green materials such as soy-based foam, non-toxic glues and FSC-certified domestic maple wood. The announcement comes just before the inaugural CA Boom EAST Design Show in High Point, North Carolina where the John Derian Furniture Collection will be making its furniture tradeshow debut. “Over the last 14 years of having my shop I have seen a real need for comfortable, good-looking upholstered furniture,”states John Derian. “I have had many great antique and vintage pieces come and go and I thought it was time to pull together some of my favorite pieces from the 18th and 19th century and share them with a wider audience. The line is offered in upholstered or slip-covered versions except for the tufted bench,which only comes upholstered.
