Imagine the Possibilities came to life in Phoenix recently when aspenhome employees, family and friends participated in the City of Hope’s three-mile walk. “When we put the call out to our department heads for participants in the Walk for Hope we imagined 100 walkers,” stated Bill Colegrove, aspenhome CEO. “After a week we had 200, then 300 and by the time of the walk we had 468 walkers. This was our first fund raising event in support of our ‘Imagine the Possibilities Campaign’ for 2008/2009. And, the name says it all.” Colegrove who introduced the “Imagine the Possibilities Campaign” to the furniture industry talks about how extraordinary things are possible when people join together, to walk, to raise money and to find a cure. His theory was tested with aspenhome’s employees and it brought results beyond expectations. aspenhome/FVI had the second largest group participating in this year’s Walk For Hope and were a lead sponsor. The event marked the launch of a long-term, company wide campaign. In addition to a corporate donation, aspenhome donated funds for each participant in the walk.
