The Salesbury Post (salisburypost.com) reported that contemporary furniture manufacturer Carter Furniture has closed its plant in Denton, NC. The article noted that, "Directional Furniture, another maker of contemporary furniture, is buying the company's assets and moving production to its plant in Thomasville, Ward said.
