Western Home Furnishings Association and National Home Furnishings Association announced that they have launched their first-ever Business Survival Hotline in response to concerns and questions raised by their member retailers in today’s uncertain economic times. The purpose of this hotline is to give retail owners a single phone number they can call to get the answers they need on questions relating to surviving in this current environment. The Business Survival Hotline was developed in partnership with JRM Sales & Management, a specialist in industry consulting. This FREE service, now available to WHFA and NHFA members, is a consulting service intended to help members respond to the challenges that threaten the survival or growth of their business. “When the market changes, many small businesses have difficulty adjusting to the situation,” said Sharron Bradley, executive director of Western Home Furnishings Association. “We can help them change the way they do business to survive in this volatile marketplace.” The Business Survival Hotline will field a variety of questions during regular business hours. Expert advisers will answer calls from retailers, providing information and arranging free, confidential counseling. Those calling the hotline can expect a response within 24 hours. “Many small business owners are reluctant to come forward and ask for assistance.
