Expectations Running High for Winter Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas Market announced that new and expanding resources, product introductions and programming are fueling high expectations and strong early buyer registration for Winter 2019 Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 27 – Jan. 31, 2019.

Las Vegas Market will present more than 4,000 furniture, home décor and gift resources at Winter Market with 170+ new exhibitors in permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits across campus. Additionally, Las Vegas Market provides retailers and designers with a platform to discover the latest trends, network with fellow thought-leaders and experience value-added activities.

New and Expanding Home Furnishings Resources


The furniture category continues to grow at Las Vegas Market, even this week with a late commitment by Parker House, bringing the total of new, expanding and renewing showrooms confirmed for Winter Market to more than 140,000 square feet. These showrooms include: Americanstar; Delta Children; International Furniture Direct; Liberty Furniture; Nectar Sleep, DreamCloud and Level Sleep; Parker House; Night & Day; Southern Motion/Fusion Furniture; Sealy Sofabeds; and Sharelle Furnishings.

In home décor, more than 120,000 square feet of new and expanding showrooms are set to open this winter, adding to Las Vegas Market’s one-million-plus square feet of home décor resources on 11 showroom floors in Buildings A, B and C, and temporary exhibitors in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market. Notable newcomers include: Anthony California; Caravan Rugs; Canvas Candy; Classy Art; Coast to Coast; FJ Kashanian; Koncept; Unique Loom; and Wantech International/OK Lighting.

Las Vegas Design Center also will feature exclusive cross-category resources, including designer-centric furniture, fabrics, lighting, floor covering, wall décor, decorative accessories and kitchen and bath resources. New to LVDC this winter, the European Bath | Kitchen | Tile & Stone showrooms will include a high-end kitchen and bath exhibit located within the Kitchen and Bath Resource Center in A110 as well as a surface-focused showroom in A118 that offers unique, artisanal and exclusive tile and stone lines. Other notable LVDC lines include: Christopher Guy; Eastern Accents; Global Views; Kitchen and Bath Resource Center; Norwalk Furniture; Phillips Collection; Vanguard Furniture; Visual Comfort; and Wendover Art, among others.

This January, bedding buyers will have access to the latest technology, fabrics and forms, and will receive a first-hand look at the latest bedding and sleep products with more than 50 showrooms providing a test-and-try. With representation from the top 14 bedding manufactures, Las Vegas Market will feature more than 100 bedding producers and sleep accessories producers across its campus.

Additionally, Las Vegas Market showcases more than 180 casual and outdoor furnishings lines. With two dedicated floors of casual/outdoor products, Las Vegas Market offers an assortment of resources, including metal, wood and woven furniture for dining and lounge, to fire pits, fountains and umbrellas. Notable casual exhibitors include: Agio; Ashley Furniture; Ebel; Fermob USA; Kannoa; King’s Rattan; Klaussner Outdoor; O.W. Lee; Panama Jack; Plank & Hide; Poly-Wood; Seasonal Living; Summerset Casual; Sunset West; Telescope Casual; Treasure Garden; Viker Art Furniture Co.; and Zuo.

Growth in Gift Category Continues

Gift continues its upward trajectory with more than 2,700 permanent and temporary resources throughout campus, including 127,000+ square foot of new, expanding and relocating showrooms confirmed in Building C for Winter Market. These resources include: AC+F; Bearington Collection; Best of Show; Creative Co-Op; Jaco of America; Katherine’s Collection; Next Step Reps; Stickers Northwest and Timeless by Designs.

The relocations and expansions of Timeless by Designs and Creative Co-Op support Las Vegas Market’s remerchandising of C7, which offers buyers a more cohesive gift and seasonal presentation and supports the growth of existing tenants as well as renewals, expansions and relocations of other exhibitors. Other notable exhibitors on C7 include: C&F Enterprises, K&K Interiors and Primitives by Kathy.

The gourmet category is also experiencing notable growth with more than 750 gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food resources on C11 and across campus. New and expanded showrooms for Winter Market include: BIDK Home; Keena; Mer-Sea Co.; Nora Fleming; Supremes Housewares and The Grommet.

New and Returning Temporary Exhibitors Showing in Packed Pavilions


Temporary exhibit leasing is pacing at an all-time high with nearly 600 gift and home exhibitors expected in two Pavilions for Winter Market. Pavilion 1 will showcase GIFT, DESIGN LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE with more than 300 exhibitors in 48,000+ net square feet of exhibit space. Product categories include fashion accessories, jewelry, tabletop, housewares, gourmet foods, personal care and stationery products, among other lines.

Pavilion 2 includes HOME, DESIGN HOME and DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace with more than 225 exhibitors in nearly 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space. Pavilion 2 will showcase home décor product categories, including accent furniture, antiques, decorative accessories, faux botanicals, home décor, jewelry, lighting, one-of-a-kind products, rugs, tabletop, textiles, vintage items and wall décor.

Additionally, the Pavilions will feature a robust schedule of seminars and events, including the popular Cash & Carry Shopping Spree which expands to include all of Pavilion 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28. The event creates a combined order writing/cash and carry late-night event with shopping and complimentary cocktails. The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market are open Jan. 27 – Jan. 30, 2019. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Sunday to Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Las Vegas Market has forged partnerships with more than 40 industry organizations across the globe to offer a strong lineup of special programming, tours, educational opportunities and networking events. Highlights include the Non-Profit Retail Symposium in collaboration with three major non-profit industry associations - Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (AHVRP), Museum Store Association (MSA) and Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group (ZAG); the Gail Doby business retreat, which will bring an annual buying power of more than $20 million to Market; and Wild Birds Unlimited’s two-day pre-Market event with their Pacific Northwest Franchisees.
