Art Van Gives Away 1959 Ford F100 Truck as Part of 60th Anniversary

Art Van announced that on Thursday, November 7, over 300 guests attended Art Van Furniture’s annual Wonderland holiday celebration which featured a dazzling firework display and light show at the furniture and mattress retailer’s Warren, Mich., holiday-themed showroom. The night was filled with fun family festivities as well as opportunities to take photos with Santa himself.

“This was my father’s favorite night of the year because it kicked off his favorite time of the year,” said David Van Elslander, youngest son of Art Van Furniture founder, Art Van Elslander. “It wasn’t about him; it was all about our guests and their families as well as our employees and their families. They have truly been our inspiration for 60 fabulous years.”

To add to the excitement, three finalists were given a key to find out which one of started a fully restored classic 1959 red and white Ford F100 truck commemorating Art Van Furniture’s 60th anniversary. Almost 55,000 shoppers at Art Van Furniture’s Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and Iowa showrooms registered to win the vintage, fire engine red truck. The grand prize winner was Becky Morris from Ann Arbor, Mich.
