Latexco US Hires Industry Veteran for COO

Latexco US, a manufacturer of latex and polyurethane foam products to the bedding industry, has named bedding industry veteran Todd Councilman to the post of Chief Operating Officer.
 
Latexco US CEO Ben Ducatteeuw said Councilman will focus on the company’s operational excellence as it continues to execute bi-coastal expansion plans and manage growth at its headquarters in Lavonia, Ga., and western facility in Phoenix, Ariz. The new COO will report to Ducatteeuw.
 
Councilman joins Latexco US with a proven record of success over his 32 years in the bedding industry. He most recently served as Sr. Business Development Manager of Olympic Products LLC, a Woodbridge INOAC Technical Products company. He’s held leadership roles in sales and operations at industry leading companies including HSM and Elite Comfort Solutions.
 
“Todd’s diverse skill set and market experience will further strengthen the Latexco team and ultimately have a positive impact on our valued customers,” said Ducatteeuw.
 
In addition to his COO role, Councilman joins the Latexco US executive committee to help steer the company’s rapid development and growth. He officially steps into his new role Feb. 10 and will be based in Lavonia.
