The NIWA Expo Has Been Rescheduled for June 1 - 2

The Northern Indiana Woodworking Association recently announced that the 2020 NIWA Expo has been cleared to open and will be held at the Michiana Event Center on June 1st and 2nd. The NIWA and Michiana Event Center will be following CDC guidelines and will be taking the recommended precautions to make this event possible.

NIWA listed what you can expect at the rescheduled show:

• Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the event center and in restrooms
  
  
• We will provide free face masks to all attendees and exhibitors upon request at the registration area
  
  
• We will avoid shaking hands and encourage social distancing
  
  
• The event center staff will clean and sanitize doors, frequently touched objects and other surfaces during show hours

The growth of the expo has helped drive the need for a new, enhanced facility to host the dynamic expo. This year's show will be held at The Michiana Event Center. The building will increase capacity, offer new flexibility, and provide amenities that will only increase the welcoming environment that’s been built over time.

The dealer banquet for now is pending. However, if there the banquet doesn't take place, the $50,000+ Merchandise Certificate Raffle will still take place on June 2nd. Details to be announced.
