AICO Names Denise Salcido Director of E-commerce

AICO (Amini Innovation, Corp.) has announced that Denise Salcido has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of E-commerce.  Salcido had previously worked as Sales Support Manager responsible for driving sales analytics and managing day to day sales operations.  

AICO Executive Vice President, Chuck Reilly stated “Denise is one of those unique individuals in a company who takes initiative in areas beyond her job description, and one of those areas has been the development of a comprehensive strategy to implement an E-commerce platform that benefits both our brick and mortar and ‘on-line only’ partner base.”

Reilly added, “Today’s business climate has alerted the traditional retailer that they must have an on-line strategy and that they have a major advantage by being able to service the consumer with a physical store front, as well on-line.  At AICO, our strategy is to help make sure our content is easily understandable on our website, as well as our customers’ on-line platforms. This is essential so we can better service today’s consumer searching for the AICO and Michael Amini brands.”

Salcido has been with AICO for 15 years and has been recognized with many company awards, including Employee of the Year.  In 2019, she was honored by Home Furnishings Business as part of the industry’s Top 40 Under 40.  

Salcido commented; “I am excited to take on this new role, as on-line selling and the understanding of the importance of details is something I am passionate about.  I appreciate Michael and our leadership’s confidence in my ability to drive these important channels.”
