Furniture of America Relocates Texas Offices and Warehouse

Furniture of America has recently announced the relocation of their Texas distribution center to a 250,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art building in the city of Irving, Texas only 3.5 miles away from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

As of late last year, FOA Texas is now located in 2601 West Airport Freeway, DFW Airport-Irving, Texas, off the intersection of the President George Bush Turnpike (161) and the Airport Freeway (183). They are situated in Suite #300 with the office entrance at the northwest corner of the West Airport Freeway and Valley View Lane. Operations at their previous location in Farmers Branch have now ceased.

The closer proximity to main highways was stated as one of the main reasons for the move. “Our goal is to serve the people of Texas and nearby states better. Moving our warehouses to a more accessible location such as the intersection of two major highways is a step forward in meeting this goal,” says Rocky Young, Executive Officer of Furniture of America.

“Ever since the inception of our Texas Branch, we have seen a significant amount of growth in the number of local brick and mortar stores we serve as well as online businesses that primarily take advantage of our drop shipping capabilities. The obvious next move is to expand and relocate to a more strategic location, so we may meet demands efficiently,” he added.

FOA Texas remains the base of operations for the South Central region, which covers Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and neighboring states. Furniture of America also maintains distribution centers in Northern California, Georgia, and New Jersey, with its E-Commerce division and headquarters based in City of Industry, California.
