HTD Acquires GrassRoots Imports Collection

Home Trends & Design (HTD) announces the acquisition and continuation of the San Antonio, TX based GrassRoots Imports line of hardwood extension dining tables, benches, sideboards and buffets.  Along with the acquisition of this established brand and furniture line, Larry Scholze, long time sales representative for GrassRoots, has also joined the team at HTD. Larry will continue providing his outstanding level of service to new and existing GrassRoots and HTD customers. “We are excited to have Larry on board. Now an exclusive Home Trends & Design collection, the GrassRoots collection is sourced from a small artisan factory that has been dedicated to the GrassRoots line of products for 20 years. Built in small batches, these tables, benches, and sideboards exhibit all the hallmarks of handmade furniture while still maintaining an extremely high level of quality to meet and exceed the highest US standards. Each hard wood extension dining table features a sliding top with stationary base and internal leaf storage to make extending your seating area and leaf storage a breeze. All sideboards and buffets include felt lined drawer bottoms and adjustable shelving for customizable storage. 

In keeping with HTDs mission to build sustainable furniture, the GrassRoots factory is committed to reforestation efforts to keep the local population of Birch trees healthy and strong.
