Ameriwood Home, a division of Dorel Industries Inc., (TSX: DII.B; DII.A), recently announced that it is expanding its most sought-after furniture collections into areas of the home where items are generally purchased for function or lack of assortment. By growing these areas to be practical and stylish, Ameriwood Home is giving customers better options for designing their space.

“We’re exploring new possibilities for our popular collections in overlooked rooms, like a bathroom, which gives Ameriwood Home consumers the availability to flow their favorite style from one room to the next,” explained Brianna Phares, Ameriwood Home Marketing Director.

The Ameriwood Home Fall 2018 Market Showroom will introduce new pieces that are both functional and fashionable within current best-selling collections. The main focuses will be on bathroom storage, entryway, and pet furniture. All three categories are new to the Ameriwood Home brand with full lines ready for market by Q2 2019.

Bathroom storage is usually purchased out of necessity especially with small houses or apartments. With limited space, vertical storage is vital with fashionable over-the-toilet storage, towers/shelves, and wall cabinets. Ameriwood Home will be expanding the industrial aesthetics of Ashlar and Brookspoint collections with rustic wood finishes, dark metal framing, and shelves in three and four-piece sets. Also, the current Franklin collection in a painted gray finish will have a three-piece bathroom set with open and closed storage. The new Highland collection features a two-tone color scheme with dark espresso and weathered plank finishes that are simple but add a lot of wow factor.

Even an entryway can be an area that only focuses on storage; wrangling shoes and coats. The new Ameriwood Home Farmington Entryway Hall Tree is a modular system that allows you to add as many units needed to fill the space. This system is an expansion of the best selling Farmington collection in a rustic barn door finish in three flavors. Now your entryway can be an organizational hub and give you that great first impression when you walk in the door. Ameriwood Home also will present the Brewer Hall Tree, a sizeable modern-industrial piece, and for even smaller spaces, elegant Franklin Entryway Tables in a painted gray.

With the pet industry growing, Ameriwood Home is debuting some new pet furniture. Pet owners treat their pets like family and expanding on great collections, the Farmington dog/cat bed and aquarium stands will be debuted. There will also be new colorways shown in the patented Flipper™ Aquarium Stand in white and gray which allows consumers to use the stand for a 10 or 20-gallon aquarium.

With these new furniture categories being explored by Ameriwood Home, more areas of the house can feel styled, yet keep the clutter to a minimum. To see more unique Ameriwood Home designs and collections, visit the Ameriwood Home Showroom on the 9th floor of the Commerce & Design Building.
