The Trump Organization has partnered with Miresco Decorative Rugs to produce a collection of rugs based on the lifestyle of iconic real estate and television entrepreneur Donald J. Trump. The launch of Trump Home rug collection is set to debut at the March 2007 High Point Market in High Point, North Carolina. The rugs, offered in a variety of constructions and price points, will be distributed through furniture retailers, department stores, and independent retailers. Trump’s larger-than-life style has caused him to be described as “America’s equivalent of royalty.” Inspired by Trump’s personal homes and luxurious properties, the Trump Home rug collection will offer consumers an affordable way to experience the luxurious lifestyle associated with Donald Trump “We have been working together with Miresco to create a beautiful line of rugs that will coordinate with the introduction of the Trump Home furniture collection by Lexington Home Brands, as well as stand on its own merit, ” states Cathy Hoffman Glosser, VP of Global Licensing for The Trump Organization. The Trump Home rugs will be crafted of New Zealand wool, silk highlights and creative construction methods, the collection will feature both hand tufted and hand knotted rugs. The sizes offered will range from 5’ x 8’ to 10’ x 14’ and include runners, round and square options. The collection is designed to coordinate with The Trump Home furniture collection. The Trump Home Rug collection will be introduced at the Miresco showroom at 126 South Centennial Street, Space 300, High Point, NC. The rugs are expected to be in retail stores in summer of 2007.
