McMahon's Furniture To Cease Operations

The Times-Standard (http://www.times-standard.com) reported that, "McMahan's furniture stores, which identifies itself as one of America's oldest and largest family-owned furniture retailers, will close its furniture operations in the next few months, the company announced Monday." The family owned company which operates 17 stores in California and Oregon including two Laz-Z-Boy Furntiure Gallery Stores said that the the closing was precipitated by a downturn in business that started in late 2006.
