Magniflex, Italy’s largest mattress manufacturer, reported that it is expanding its North American presence with the opening of a new 3,400-square-foot showroom at 3050 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami’s trendy Design District. The move represents a significant increase in the company’s Miami footprint, where it has already established its U.S. headquarters and warehousing facilities over the past year. This will allow Magniflex to support its exponential growth in the U.S. and Canada while providing easy access to Latin American dealers.
“Miami is a design hub in the United States with a vibrant international culture and growing furniture trade, which made it a logical place to establish our East Coast showroom. This location also allows us to better service our growing clientele from Latin America. More buyers from Latin America shop Miami looking for new products than anywhere else in North America, which makes this a centralized location for both our headquarters and showroom,” said Magniflex U.S. President Marco Magni.
The company’s Miami showroom design will be reflective of Magniflex’s new Las Vegas space, which creates a modern, minimalist aesthetic with warm, dark wood accents and wall art portraying images of Florence and Tuscany. Open exclusively to the trade, the showroom floor will feature 18 queen-size Magniflex mattresses from a variety of its most popular collections including Magnigel and the GeoEthic Collection. Additional mattresses will be represented with a bevy of smaller samples and mattress buns. Meanwhile, several displays will showcase Magniflex’s extensive pillow offerings. The new space will also house Magniflex’s main offices for its North American staff as well as a large conference room for meetings.
The space will serve as a location to host dealers and business partners based in the East Coast, Midwest and in Eastern Canada. Designed as a destination for buyers, a visit to the Miami showroom provides an opportunity to visit a true Italian showroom, rest-test product, plan out advertising, select point-of-purchase materials and put together personalized Gallery programs.
“When a customer makes the trip to Miami, we know they are focused on Magniflex. That’s why we’re committed to providing full-service support, including partnering to establish and plan marketing and advertising strategies. We believe this space is going to play a crucial role in increasing our North American dealer network,” said Magniflex North American Sales Director Billy Curtright.
Earlier this year, Magniflex announced the expansion of its U.S. operations with the opening of a new Miami warehouse. Located in the Doral section of Dade County, the facility serves as the company’s central warehouse and distribution center where its mattresses and sleep accessories are shipped throughout North America. The new facility aims to better service customers by dramatically reducing their delivery times.
Magniflex will also have its latest offerings on display at the Summer Las Vegas Market, July 29th through Aug. 2nd, in showroom C-1532.
