Kingsdown Goes After “Modern” Luxury Segment By Introducing New “Haute Couture” Collection

Kingsdown, Inc., long known in the sleep products industry for being one of the first brands to embrace luxury mattresses, announced that it is returning to the segment with the introduction of its Kingsdown Haute Couture collection that will debut at the Las Vegas Winter Furniture Market, Jan.26th-30th. As its name suggests, the high-fashion line-up will feature a “Parisian Chic” look, including stylish new fabrics, exquisite tailoring, detailing, and premium components within the mattress. With price points that range from $9,999 to $25,999 in queen, Kingsdown believes it will re-emerge as a leader in the ultra luxury mattress category.

According to Kingsdown executives, Haute Couture is designed with a “fresher and more modern” aesthetic than many of the luxury brands currently on the market. This new collection introduces a romantic ebony and ecru fabric application that features the iconic French fleur-de-lis and hand scripted words and phrases. Also unique to Haute Couture is the vertical zoning of multiple wrapped coil units, a construction process traditionally used with comfort layers, but when applied to wrapped coil units, delivers the quintessential combination of comfort and longevity. This new collection leverages the luxurious qualities of silk, latex, and other high quality hypo-allergenic materials. Additionally, the Haute Couture collection’s foundation features a supportive foam-encased, wrapped coil system that sits within a durable wood foundation, providing superior support and adding to the overall durability and comfort of the entire mattress set.
