Scott & Duval Debuts New Products, Retailer Customization Program, Luxury Motion Base At Market

After a successful soft-opening at last October’s High Point Furniture Market, luxury mattress manufacturer Scott & DuVal announced that it has geared up for their grand premiere at the upcoming January Las Vegas Market with a myriad of new offerings.

The now twelve-bed lineup includes eight never-before-seen models and a host of new fashion designs and specifications (in both innerspring and foam varieties) with prices ranging from $999 through $4999.

In addition to the innovative new line extensions, Scott & DuVal is also breaking into the motion-base category with their high-end “Luxe” 6-section contour adjustable bed. Features of “Luxe” include night lights, A/C electrical plugs, WiFi capabilities (making it possible to control the bed via a smartphone or tablet), reclining “lounge-style” foot section, and more. The “Luxe” motion base can be used to coordinate with any Scott & DuVal mattress.

Of the Market introductions, Scott & DuVal President, Eric Hinshaw said, “To be able to sell luxury bedding in today's competitive market, a line must both look different and be different. The new Scott & DuVal line is totally different in look and feel from anything in the market, and those differences are appealing to the luxury consumer.”

Also being introduced for the first time in Las Vegas is the “Custom Collections” design program. “Custom Collections” is a customizable lineup designed to give retailers a choice of various fabric colorways and trim options to best suit their specific market’s individual needs and preferences.
“We feel that the retailers know their customers best and should have input into the colors and designs for the products in their bedding departments. Our Custom Collections program allows the design flexibility their stores need and is not a cookie cutter approach that can be found on every corner,” said Kathy Grigg, Vice President.

Scott & DuVal will be showing for the first time at the Las Vegas Market in Building B, Space 946, alongside Carolina Mattress Guild. Their showroom will be open from Saturday, January 25th through Wednesday, January 29th from 8am through 6pm daily.
