Attorney's Hicks and Wharton will speak about intellectual property law

The American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD) is keenly interested in sharing information with its members about the importance of original design, while at the same time recognizing that all good designers are inspired by the masters who come before them.

ASFD has, therefore, made arrangements for experienced attorneys from ASFD affiliate member Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP, to provide a special orientation session for Design Students at The Bienenstock Library, 1009 North Main Street, High Point, on Tuesday April 21st, at 2pm. Attorneys Jack Hicks and Jake Wharton will present and field questions on how to protect and respect furniture designs using intellectual property law. Both of these attorneys have a wealth of experience in advising furniture designers and manufacturers on legal matters.
