Malouf Recognized as a Top Trademark Registrant in Utah

Malouf, a leading upscale bedding accessories manufacturer, was recognized among the top three trademark registrants in Utah at the annual Utah Genius Awards held in Salt Lake City. Utah Genius recognizes the creative companies and people whose innovative work strengthens Utah’s economy.

Malouf’s recognition comes as music to the ears of its legal team who have been very busy securing intellectual property during the year. In 2014, Malouf released more new products than ever before and refined several of its unique technologies.

This award is special because it not only reflects this commitment, but because it also recognizes the efforts we make to protect brand and product integrity for our customers.”

Malouf’s new intellectual property covers a wide range of its business from the overall Malouf brand, to new products, to existing technology.

Highlights from Malouf’s new offerings include two of its banner technologies; Omniphase, a highly effective cooling fabric incorporated into its Sleep Tite line, and Gelled Microfiber, a proprietary down-alternative material found in the Z pillow and Woven product families.

Significantly, this is the third consecutive year Malouf has been recognized at the Utah Genius Awards.

Malouf was also recently recognized at the International Design Awards with a Gold award in package design. Malouf will showcase its awards in its showroom at Las Vegas Market this August.
