  7. Optimized Visiting Route and Signages Offer More Convenience.
    CIFF (Shanghai) continues to optimize the visiting route and improve signages of NECC centering on the experiences of exhibitors and visitors. The central business area will be fully used to guide visitors to their destinations. Colored carpets are installed to offer detailed directions.

Service Highlights

  1. NECC central business area will be completed and put into use on June 30, 2016. You can seek unlimited opportunities at CIFF (Shanghai) and enjoy food and leisure.

  2. In June 2016, the linking facility connecting the Hongqiao Transportation Hub and the second floor in the east of NECC will be completed and put into use. This allows visitors to directly reach Parking Lot No.5, Huaxiang Road and the Hongqiao Transportation Hub, achieving seamless connection between the exhibition center and the living area.

  3. The InterContinental Hotel in NECC will officially open in July 2016. It offers 543 spacious guestrooms, a 960-square-meter column-free banquet hall with natural lighting, advanced conference facilities, indoor swimming pool, spa center and etc. You can enjoy a comfortable and pleasant environment for business and relaxation.

Events Review and Prospect

  1. EAST Design Salon
    The 36th CIFF (Shanghai) worked with three chief curators Zhu Xiaojie, HouZhengguang and Leonard Theosabrata as well as a color director Song Jianming to co-organize a 3,000-square-meter EAST Design Salon. About 20 premium brands and over 300 workpieces were displayed, supported by five workshops, seven renowned design colleges as well as design organizations from eight countries and regions. Asian furniture design has shown its elegant charm in the 36th CIFF (Shanghai) both on shapes and craftsmanship. The 38th CIFF’s EAST Design Salon will be all the more exciting!

  2. Office Theme Pavilion
    The 36th CIFF (Shanghai) not only showcased new products, but also launched an Office Environment Theme Pavilion at a scale of 1,000-square-meter. Under the theme of “Life, Intelligence & Efficiency”, the Pavilion carries out the vision of improving office environment. It invited Mr. Xu Zhaoming as the curator---an office environment and furniture professional with 38 years of experience in the industry. Herman Miller, a world reknowned office furniture brand, debuted in the Pavilion, presenting life-based intelligent office environment, exquisite spatial design and advanced concepts. The world-class humanized office environment fully reflects CIFF’s determination to enhance China’s office environment.
