Steinreich Communications Group, Inc., the international public relations agency, recently announced that it has acquired Kenwerks, a leading fashion public relations and marketing firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles, headed by Kenneth Loo. All Kenwerks employees will be retained and will move into Steinreich offices on both coasts.

Kenneth Loo, founder and CEO of Kenwerks, will join Steinreich Communications as a senior vice president of its global fashion group. Over the past two decades, Loo has provided a full arsenal of communications and creative services to a wide range of brands, working to bring to life their products, lifestyle and vision to the media and consumers at large. Loo has represented a cadre of top fashion names including boohoo.com, CULT DENIM, TRITON, Motel Rocks, Koolaburra, Mavi, Simple Shoes, Rodd & Gunn and Southern Tide.

In addition to public relations services, Kenwerks has creative services, digital marketing and entertainment marketing groups that will work with all agency clients.

“Fashion is a key industry in New York, Los Angeles, London, Germany and Tel Aviv, so we believe this acquisition will help us to expand our services in these markets. With the addition of Ken and his team to our staff, with their expertise in fashion, creative services and product placement, we hope to not only expand our services to Kenwerks’ clients, but also share their expertise and vision with our current clients in other sectors said Steinreich Communications Group President and CEO Stan Steinreich. “We are excited to have these very talented and respected professionals join our team.”

“We are thrilled to see this acquisition come to life with Steinreich Communications,” Kenneth Loo said. “Both of our companies are built on entrepreneurialism and share complimentary ideals, clients and cultures. I personally look forward to our teams leveraging collaborating in unprecedented ways. The foundation that Steinreich Communications Group provides will allow for the innovative marketing divisions that we created to support our brand’s image and sales will flourish attracting clients globally.”
The acquisition is Steinreich’s third acquisition in the last 12 months. The first two were in the travel and tourism and home furnishings industries.
