Italian Solid Wood Resource ConArte Partners With Giuliano Riello To Design Modern Line

Made in Italy, solid oak and solid walnut furniture line ConArte America, a partnership of ConArte in Italy and its exclusive North American Minick Wood Products, reports that it has expanded its modern product line. Italian designer Giuliano Riello, who has done several collections for ConArte, is known for his ability to combine rather unexpected materials to yield uniquely innovative creations. As seen in ConArte’s modern line, Riello combines solid wood with other mediums (ceramics, iron, glass), uses laser upon the wood, and plays with textures and finishes, in addition to functionality features (hidden storage, extensions, hidden serving pieces). Collections incorporating these elements are copyright protected. Riello’s various projects - both residential and commercial - are enjoyed in different parts of the world, particularly in Italy, Greece, China, and Russia.
ConArte has a permanent display, at 827 W Green Dr., High Point, NC, in its own facility that allows customers to see how the product is packed and to experience an open house of the company.
The line made its High Point Market debut a year ago and centered its focus on upscale retailers and designers.
