AICO Bestows Annual Honors

Importer AICO/Amini Innovations Corp recently announced their annual awards and honors presented to their employees. The Employee of the Year award was presented to AICO’s Customer Service Manager, Nelly Herrera. Nelly has been with AICO for 14 years.

“The essence of this award is in the acronym AICO, which stands for the core values of the company: Attitude, Initiative, Commitment, and Outstanding performance. Nelly embodies these values, enthusiastically leading the charge in managing our customer service team and leads by example with a can do attitude.” said AICO Chairman and CEO, Michael Amini.

The Spirit of Excellence was awarded to Veronica Guzman Villanueva, AICO’s Assistant Customer Service Manager who was recently promoted to Human Resources Coordinator. “Veronica is a dedicated 12 year employee with an incredible attitude, and a true professional”, offered President Martin Ploy in presenting her the award.

The award for Rising Star went to Francesco Cortez, Supervisor of the repair department. EVP Chuck Reilly presented the award noting that although not a new employee, Francisco has displayed great ambition and drive initiating improved processes that earned him this recognition.

“All three of these awards were well deserved, and I am honored to have such a committed team behind me,” added Michael Amini.
