Winkbeds Introduces Luxury Smart Mattress Set For Dual-Sided Temperature Control

Winkbeds, the American-made direct-to-consumer mattress brand, recently announced the launch of CoolControl — a proprietary mattress set with a dual-sided temperature control system. A companion to the WinkBeds’ luxury mattress, the CoolControl base pairs exclusively with the WinkBeds mattress, in place of a traditional box spring. CoolControl is designed for a new generation of sleep-conscious customers seeking deeper, uninterrupted sleep, and is available for purchase now through WinkBeds.com.

Engineered with patented thermoelectric heating and cooling technology, CoolControl caters to users both above and below the sheets. Now, couples finally have the flexibility to program “their” side of the bed to their preferred temperature, without it being felt by their partner. This advanced technology allows sleepers to effortlessly raise the temperature of their mattress up to 30 degrees above and 15 degrees below ambient room temperature; or pre-program the system to automatically adjust the mattress temperature to the sleeper’s desired preference up to three times during the night.

The luxury bedroom pairing is safe, energy efficient, and easy to control. Users can adjust their mattress temperature using the WinkBeds CoolControl App for iOS, or with a wireless remote that accompanies the set. CoolControl is designed to complement WinkBeds’ luxury hybrid mattress, which originally launched in the spring of 2015. The system was created in partnership with Gentherm (NYSE: THRM), the leading manufacturer of seat warmers and seat coolers in automobiles.

The WinkBeds hybrid mattress strikes a balance between the contouring comfort typically associated with a foam mattress and the support, bounce, and durability only available with an innerspring mattress. To provide “the best of both worlds” the mattress was engineered with two distinct pocketed spring systems, several layers of specialty foam, and a Tencel cover derived from Eucalyptus pulp.
