Kingsdown recently announced the rollout of its holistic approach of selling mattresses and better sleep through its Body Science™ Technology, which emphasizes the company’s history, design prowess, superb construction, abundance of research and extensive testing that goes into every mattress the company manufactures. Using the all-encompassing Body Science, each Kingsdown mattresses is crafted to ensure proper ergonomic, personalized support resulting in better sleep.
The platform combines science and Kingsdown’s product expertise with data the company has gathered from more than 10.5 million consumers through its bedMATCH diagnostic system.
Kingsdown is placing a strong emphasis on how its mattresses are designed and built with Body Science. The company has developed technology around each mattress’ specifications to guide retail sales associates helping match consumers with the right sleep surface.
“Body Science is a mattress category game changer,” said Frank Hood, president and CEO of Kingsdown. “A comprehensive approach to sleep products, Body Science works across our entire line and spans all price points to ensure consumers get the most personalized support possible. We have the ability to offer consumers proper ergonomic support across our entire line based on research and data through the Sleep To Live Institute.”
The concept works with Kingsdown’s sleep diagnostic tools to determine which mattress will deliver the best sleep experience based on a consumer’s unique body type and sleep style.
In addition, all of Kingsdown mattresses incorporate Body Science. Mattresses in the company’s ultra-premium Diamond Royale collection as well as products in the company’s Passions, Sleep Haven, Crown Imperial and Vintage collections all have been assigned designations along the company’s Postural Alignment Spectrum.
Supported by an instore kiosk, Body Science guides consumers through a series of questions about body type and sleep styles to help determine proper sleep support based on science. Once the survey is completed, the kiosk makes a recommendation based on Kingsdown’s alignment system. Armed with that information, a retail sales associate is better equipped to guide consumers toward mattresses best designed to provide proper alignment and better sleep.
The program can be previewed in Kingsdown’s High Point Market showroom located at M-528 in the International Home Furnishings Center.
