Lorraine, this is not an official Thomasville site. You will probably need to contact them directly to get an answer. I am not a furniture repair person, but my feeling is that you wil need to call someone who knows what they are doing to fix this problem that could be caused by drying of the wood or separation of the veneer from the underlying substrate. A simple creame or wax probably won't do the trick... and the furniture is certainly out of warranty. Perhaps the dealer who sold you the items will know of a local repair person or you can contact furnituremedic.com or furniture-hotline.com. -Russell

I have 3 perfect pieces from Thomasville American Revival Collection, a 2 piece whitewashed oak entertainment center with a top compartment large enough to hold a 32" tv behind its 2 pocket doors. I have an beautiful 1962 Tableu collectors origional dining room table, origional table protector (3 seperate pieces) and 1 extention leaf as well as the 4 matching chairs (3 side chairs and a head chair) all peices are in great condition table still has paperwork from Thomasville attached & company name is stamped to underside and chairs are all stamped as well ( numbers available at request). I recently spoke with Thomasville corporate headquarters to determine the collection name and learned that apparently this is one of the first collections Thomasville produced and was only made for a few years and before they became incorporated. They were still Thomasville Industries and Hickory and there is not alot of info to be obtained on the collection since the company had a fire in 1975 destroyed most of their info reg it but were able to give me all the info they had available or could obtain. The table has normal wear for an antique but is very sturdy and still functioning in our formal dining area for the last 10 years after purchsing from an estate sale in Southwest Missouri. I condition the wood regularly and the pieces look great for their age. I have uplostered overtop the origional yellowish linen upolstery so everyting is intack including hardware under table and butterfly screws holding seats to chair frame. I am looking to sale since we are remodeling the room if anyone is interested or even if you know someone that could give me an apprasial on it (the Lady at corporate headquarters of Thomasville gave us a ballpark but I would like better). I believe my mother still has the buffet to match, but I don't know if she would be interested in saleing it or not. I have a King Kilimanjaro Bed That I would like to get rid of for BEST Offer. The bed has two imperfections as when we purchased it, unfortunately our dog, a puppy at the time managed to lick a small hole in the headboard and footboard. Rarely see the patch on headboard (as pillows cover it), and the footboard patch is rarely noticable and would never be seen if you plan on putting a chest, etc at the base of the bed. This is not a sale ad! My dear mother is downsizing and moving from Wilmington, NC to the western part of the state. The Wilmington home is full of the Thomasville "Replica Series" (with appropriate brass "fittings")   China cabinet with two solid doors and 8 drawers. Dining table with double pedestal base, 3 leaves, 2 arm and 6 "regular" chairs. Several other large pieces in mint condition. I HAVE a Thomasville Key West master chest, nightstand and king-size four-poster bed to sell. It's too big for the room in our new home. Anyone want to make me an offer? I have a king size canopy bed with an iron and wood headboard, that has the rod iron that runs between each post, a wooden footboard and 4 high posts. White wash in color, oak. Can anyone please tell me what series this is from. I purchased the bed new approximately 10 years ago and it's in excellent condition. I live in a much smaller home, and the bed cannot even be put together with the short ceilings that I have in my bedroom, so I am interested in selling it. There is a picture of this bed on ebay being sold as a set with all the other furniture, but it doesn't mention anything about the series or furniture name other than Thomasville.
