Currey & Company to Debut Renovated Showroom at Spring High Point Market

Currey & Company will unveil its fully reimagined showroom at the Spring 2025 High Point Market, offering a redesigned environment aimed at enhancing product display, supporting team operations, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The updated space will open just in time for Market, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 10 a.m.

Located on the first level of the original 1920 International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) on Main Street, the renovation introduces several key changes to layout, lighting, finishes, and overall flow. The main entrance has been relocated, and the showroom now features walls, display platforms, and pedestals finished in Benjamin Moore Simply White (OC-117) to brighten the space and provide visual continuity with the brand’s other locations.

A total of 3,753 square feet of Italian Carrara porcelain tile flooring was installed alongside existing white tile, while 7,734 square feet of vintage mahogany wood flooring was refurbished to highlight the natural character of the interiors and support sustainability goals. Mirrors were added to columns, and select walls were removed to improve sightlines and enhance the openness of the space.

The showroom also features new LED supplemental lighting for energy efficiency and environmental impact, along with updates to the HVAC system and layout adjustments that improve airflow. A relocated kitchen and newly added serving bar offer guests a refreshed take on Southern hospitality during their showroom visits.

Behind the scenes, the renovation includes expanded support areas for staff and sales representatives. New additions include two art-filled conference rooms, a customer service counter, private offices, and a storage and packing space for artifacts and one-of-a-kind items.
