Dallas Market Center will expand its Nearshoring America initiative in January 2026 with two curated B2B expos designed to connect U.S. brands with vetted manufacturers and suppliers from Mexico, Central, and South America. The events will run concurrently with the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market and Lightovation.
The Nearshoring America Expo: Home & Gift will take place January 7–9, 2026, on the 13th floor of the World Trade Center during the Total Home & Gift Market. The event will feature manufacturers offering home décor, gifts, outdoor living, textiles, tableware, seasonal décor, and lifestyle accessories.
The Nearshoring America Expo: Lighting will be held January 10–11, 2026, on the 4th floor of the Trade Mart during Lightovation. Exhibitors will present lighting fixtures, components for custom installations, ceiling fans, and smart lighting systems aimed at both residential and commercial sectors.
“Nearshoring America is more than a sourcing event—it’s a learning environment and a launchpad for resilient, regional supply chains,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “By aligning these expos with our most important trade events of the year, we are maximizing exposure and creating the most efficient, value-driven experience for our buyers and exhibitors.”
As global sourcing dynamics continue to shift, nearshoring presents retailers and importers with access to more flexible and geographically closer supply chains. The expos are designed to foster collaboration and improve delivery timelines by providing direct access to production-ready partners.
Industry Perspectives
“As importing becomes more challenging for logistical and geopolitical reasons, nearshoring offers a timely and strategic alternative. Being able to connect with suppliers in the Americas—much closer to home—presents exciting new opportunities for our business,” said Brandon Levin, President, Justice Design Group.
“Nearshoring is real—and it’s happening right here in Dallas. Events like this open your eyes to what’s possible when you bring production closer to home. It’s not just about efficiency—it’s about building smarter, faster, and more resilient supply chains,” said Charles Shepherd, Vice President of Business Development, NovaLink Incorporated.
"Collaboration is going to continue and these types of events help us see the possibility to keep growing. I have no doubt that the nearshoring spectrum is going to become more popular," added Andres Flores, Director at EquityLink America.
Participation and Future Expansion
Nearshoring America expos are intended for export-ready manufacturers, private and white-label suppliers, sourcing agencies, trade organizations, and U.S. buyers. A new edition focused on apparel and accessories is currently in development.
