Ashley and Hope to Dream Provide 100 Beds to Children in North Mississippi

Ashley, in partnership with its charitable organization Hope to Dream and the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi, hosted a community event that provided 100 beds to children in need. Held at the Boys & Girls Club in Ripley, Mississippi, the “Sweet Dreams Summer Fest” featured games, summer-themed activities, and a meal for children and their families—culminating in the surprise announcement that each child would be receiving a new bed set.

The donation included a mattress, bed frame, pillow, and bedding for each child. Ashley Furniture Industries team members from local Mississippi facilities volunteered at the event to help create a celebratory atmosphere for participating families.

Through Hope to Dream, we're not just providing 100 children with beds – we're investing in the future of families right here where our team members live and work," said Earnie Gates, Senior Director of Upholstery, Ashley Furniture Industries. "Our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi allows us to directly impact our neighbors and strengthen the community that has supported Ashley's growth for many years.”

Hope to Dream was established to help children across the U.S. and Canada get access to beds. The program is funded in part by proceeds from mattress purchases at participating Ashley retail locations. Since its founding in 2010, Hope to Dream has donated beds to over 180,000 children.
