Bellini Modern Living Debuts Morten Georgsen Collection

Contemporary home furnishings company Bellini Modern Living reports that it will introduce a new collection of dining and occasional pieces at the Fall 2017 High Point Market, in collaboration with renowned designer Morten Georgsen. The collection fuses Mid-Century and contemporary design elements, utilizing colored glass and polished stainless steel.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Morten Georgsen,” said Frederik Winther, VP of Sales at Bellini. “His philosophy perfectly coincides with the Bellini Modern Living brand and answers a growing consumer desire for designs that are beautiful, yet practical.”

The Valencia, Spain-based Georgen established his own design studio – Futhark Design – in 1992 in Denmark, and also worked in product management at Bang & Olufsen for nine years. His design philosophy is characterized by elegant simplicity, prioritizing function and usability. He was also part of the design team that developed the first marble extension table in the world.
