Legends Promotes Shankar Rathnam to Chief Operating Officer

Case Goods manufacturer Legends Furniture recently announced that it has promoted Shankar Rathnam to Chief Operating Officer. He replaces Jim Goergen who is no longer with the company. Rathnam began his career with Legends in 2004 as a production advisor, specializing in Lean Manufacturing. Rathnam exceled to the position of Supply Chain Director in 2008, directing all import operations. Rathnam will continue to lead the import division as he takes on the duties of COO in a key growth period for Legends Furniture.

Rathnam received an Engineering Degree from the University of Bombay and worked in Project Sales and Management for 7 years. After immigrating to the United States in 2000, Shankar received his MBA in International Business from Thunderbird International School of Business. Shankar proudly attained his US citizenship in 2017.
