Diamond Mattress Strengthens Sales Force with Industry Veteran

Diamond Mattress announced that it has added industry veteran Todd Freer to its business development team, showing a strong growth strategy for the newly re-branded sleep wellness company.
 
Freer brings nearly 30 years’ industry experience to the newly created role of Business Development Executive for National Accounts, where he will build and strengthen relationships with key national accounts to develop custom solutions. He will report to Steve Anderson, Vice President of Business Development.
 
“Todd’s strong retail background gives him directly applicable knowledge, skills and ability to relate to the retailer’s needs and challenges to engage the consumer and elevate their experience,” said Anderson. “That is what Diamond’s custom solutions is focused on and Todd will be a great asset to our team.”
 
Prior to joining Diamond, Freer was with Top 20 bedding producer Kingsdown for four years as key account manager where he was responsible for revenue and profit growth for a 12-state region. He also spent 13 years with Simmons where he moved up through the sales organization managing diverse national accounts, marketing plans and distribution initiatives. His furniture and bedding career began in retail in 1990 where he managed stores for 10 years before joining Simmons.
 
Freer will be with Diamond Mattress at the upcoming Las Vegas Market, Jan. 27-31, in their showroom at World Market Center, B-950.
