HFA Welcomes 2019 Board of Directors

The Home Furnishings Association has announced that it has chosen new leaders for 2019.

Meeting at the Las Vegas Market, HFA members elected new board members Al David of Ashley. Furniture in White Lake, Minn.; Eric Easter of Kittles Home Furnishings Center in Indianapolis, Ind.; Joel Haimsohn of Lawrance Furnishings in San Diego, Calif., Greg Rich of Habitation and Design, St. Louis Park, Minn. ; Mitchell Stiles of WS Badcock Corp., Mulberry, Fla.; and Jared Simon of Simon Furniture, Franklin,  Mass.

Officers elected by the  Board are Jesus  Capo of El Dorado Furniture, Opa Lacka, Fla., president;  David Gunn, Knight Furniture,  Sherman,  Texas, president -elect; David Beckmann, Emerald Home Furnishings,  Tacoma,  Wash., vice president;  Tom Olinde, Olinde's Furniture, Baton Rouge,  La.; secretary-treasurer; and Jim Fee, Stoney Creek Furniture,  Stoney Creek,  Ont., Canada, executive committee chairman.

The association represents nearly 1,200 retail furniture companies of all sizes across the United States and Canada. Its officers and directors reflect that diversity.

“This is a powerful and creative group of industry leaders who will guide our association through another strong year,” said Sharron Bradley, CEO of the Home Furnishings Association

Officers and board members officially began their terms on Jan. 1, 2019.
