HW HOME
Ron Werner and Jim Hering are the Co-founders and Owners of HW Home, Inc.; a Colorado based home furnishings retailer and design source. HW Home likes to say that the company lives in the Yes striving to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction to its clients while simultaneously building trustworthy vendor relationships and supporting the company’s loyal team members with dignity and respect. Ron graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Economics and minor in Jewish Studies. Prior to forming HW Home in 1998 Ron was a Sr. Vice President of Investments with Smith Barney. Ron serves on various boards including The Alexander Muss High School in Israel, The Mathew Shepard Foundation, The Riverfront Park Community foundation, The Riverfront Park Association, and the National Home Furnishings Association. Jim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Business and Political Science. Prior to forming HW Home in 1998 Jim was the General Manager of Holly Hunt’s Flagship Chicago showroom and was responsible for management of her showrooms and proprietary furniture collections. Before joining Holly Hunt, Mr. Hering was the production manager for Dennis & Leen, and Formations in Los Angeles. Jim is a board member of the Accessory Resource team and an avid tennis player.

HW Home first opened its doors for business on June 15, 1999 in Boulder, Colorado. The newly created lifestyle boutique was founded by Jim Hering & Ron Werner. The duo crafted the shop’s concept after visiting and assisting Werner’s sister with a home décor project during January 1998. During that visit they quickly realized that both Boulder and Denver were void of a chic home store. Their concept was relatively simple… offer design center styled merchandise at retail competitive price points while maintaining stock levels to satisfy today’s consumers demand for instant gratification. Their assortment blend and high level of service has proven to be a success. Today the company operates three retail locations spanning fifty miles of the Colorado Front Range, a stocked distribution facility and executes design projects coast to coast.
