Organic Mattresses, Inc. Appoints Key Industry Exec To Lead Sales

Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI), the manufacturer of organic mattresses under the OrganicPedic™ brand, has named Steve Baumberger its new Senior Vice President of Sales. Baumberger brings over 20 years of sales experience in key executive positions to the company.

Prior to joining OMI, Baumberger was director of sales at Pure LatexBLISS in the Southwest United States and all of Canada. He also served as a senior territory manager for International Bedding Group, where he was responsible for spearheading sales growth in Southern California. Prior to that, he was president of Baumberger’s Furniture from 1997 to 2007. While in that post, he was credited with tripling the company’s revenue in only a few years. He first joined the family business in 1992 as a sales representative and assistant manager.

Baumberger received his bachelor’s of arts degree from Indiana University. He currently resides in Ladera Ranch, CA with his family.

Baumberger’s hire coincides with Kurt Ling’s appointment to CEO. The moves position the company to capture the ever-increasing organic movement to the mattress industry and position the OrganicPedic brand to become a marketing and sales powerhouse.
