Dolnick’s Contemporary Furniture Announces Going-Out-Of-Business Sale

Dolnick’s Contemporary Furniture, a leading retailer of furniture, rugs and home accents serving the greater St. Louis area, is closing due to the owner’s retirement. A going out of business sale at the store, located at 10725 Page Ave., began Thurs., Feb 10. Dolnick noted, after interviewing a number of promotional high-impact sales companies, he chose Planned Furniture Promotions (PFP) to handle the event.

Founded in 1927 in Wellston, Mo., by Isadore and Gertrude Dolnick, Dolnick’s moved to its present address in 1959. Over the years, the store evolved from a full-line furniture store to a specialist in contemporary furniture and accessories. The company is currently owned by Ryan Dolnick, the grandson of the founders, who is retiring from the retail furniture business.

“Over the years, Dolnick’s has become one of the Midwest’s leading destinations for stylish, quality contemporary furnishings at an exceptional value,” said Dolnick. “This sale event offers customers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy brand furniture at going-out-of-business prices. The store features furniture from top brands such as Natuzzi, Lazar, Oios Metals, Elite Manufacturing, Alf Group, Boliya USA and Palliser. The store also offers a variety of contemporary and traditional rugs from around the world, as well as wall art, lighting, mirrors and other accessories.

Everything in the store will be sold before the closing. A huge selection of products will be available, with discounts varying depending on the category.

Products are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
