Fine Cotton Factory Expands Sales Team For Growing U.S. Business

Textile manufacturer Fine Cotton Factory has announce that they have added two new territory managers to its slate of experienced personnel from all corners of fabric manufacturing to better serve an expanding customer base.
Bob Siegel is newly appointed, and represents the company in the Northeast U.S.; Teresa Lynn continues on the West Coast U.S.; Doug Owens continues based in North Carolina; James Austin is newly appointed on the East Coast of Canada; and Ray Brewer manages Quebec for the company. Each of the sales representatives are charged with rolling out Fine Cotton Factory’s range of products, including its latest CuTEC, a copper-infused yarn, and Slayer, a single-layer FR solution for latex mattresses.
“The addition of our two newest seasoned sales professionals will firmly set Fine Cotton Factory on a solid growth path,” said Skip Kann, director of special projects and business development for Fine Cotton Factory. “We have a lot of excitement building around our new product initiatives, and our sales team is able to tout the breadth and benefits of our offerings.”
Siegel boasts more than 50 years experience as an industry sales representative for a number of companies including Webster Spring Co., Value Ticking Co., Hoover Spring Co., and Four Seasons Stitching and Mountain Top Foam. He lives in Hudson, N.Y., with his wife and enjoys coaching youth basketball and baseball. Siegel is also a certified baseball umpire.
Lynn continues to manage sales for Fine Cotton Factory on the West Coast, as she has done for the last two years. She has 10 years industry experience, including seven years working with Deslee and two years with Bayeux Cortina working with flame retardant fabrics. Lynn lives in Los Angeles.
Austin started his career in textile sales with Bill Mee Sales Agency selling fabric in 1972. Since then, he has held a number of positions with a variety of fabric and yarn suppliers. Austin lives in Amherst, Nova Scotia, with his wife.
Owens began his career with Culp, went on to be national accounts manager at Tietex for 23 years, and continues in the Southern U.S. territory, and serves on national accounts for Fine Cotton.
Brewer represents Fine Cotton Factory in Quebec. Prior to joining Fine Cotton Factory last year, Brewer was a sales agent and importer of fabrics and apparel with Ubitex. Before joining Ubitex, he was a sales representative for the outerwear division of Consoltex, a uniform apparel company. Brewer lives in Montreal.
