Eleven Vietnamese Companies To Show Accessories and Furniture At High Point

A group of eleven companies producing home decor and furniture from Vietnam will participate in High Point Market in the Pavilions at IHFC on Main 3rd Floor.
Organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), the international trade arm of the Vietnamese government, the group will show a wide selection of indoor and outdoor furniture and handicrafts, including some beautiful lacquerware. Vietrade supports the marketing of qualified Vietnamese companies expanding to foreign markets. Vietnamese producers have a worldwide reputation for producing high quality accessories and furniture and are also renowned for their ability to supply small and mid-size buyers across the globe. Many high end USA brands have moved their production and sourcing to Vietnam in recent years benefiting not only from the affordability but also for the quality and unique craftsmanship. Vietnam exports some $3.9 bn worth of wooden products per annum, export levels increased 18 fold between 2000 and 2011 and saw a 52% increase between 2009 and 2011.
Trade official Mr Binh Luong, from Vietrade said: “We are excited to participate in High Point Market and further expand on the successful trade relations Vietnam have been experienced with USA businesses in the past. Many of the Vietnamese suppliers joining us in High Point have enjoyed great success in Europe and are expanding to the USA looking for new customers and to build trade relationships. We have assembled a select group of companies that are among the best producers and exporters in Vietnam.”
Each of the eleven companies has its own story to tell, Hiep Long Fine Furniture for example will be showing indoor and outdoor furniture, including tables, chairs and parasols made of teak for outdoors and other hardwoods for indoors.
Anh dao décor will be showing some beautiful lacquerware used both on decorative items and furniture utilizing mango wood, white oak, walnut, rubber wood and acacia.
Binh Phu Production and Trading Co. Ltd specializes in consulting, designing and processing high grade wooden, antique-look furniture. Gia Long was established in 2001 trading as Lavanto Home Décor, it focuses on the design and production of handicraft gifts made from poly resin and composite materials. Products include sculptures, paintings, vases, lamps, mirror frames, clocks and objets d’art which are being exported to the Far East, Europe, Japan and Latin America.
Ho Nai Company is a low cost manufacturer of quality bedroom and dining room furniture which is exported throughout the US and the world. Ho Nai is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and uses advanced technology.
Baohung is a privately owned Vietnamese company, founded in 2004 which specializes in all kinds of hard wood furniture such as white oak, walnut, rubber wood and acacia. Operating with a professional management system and employing good skilled workers, Baohung has been providing consistent quality and appropriate furniture style at reasonable prices.
The Scansia (IFC) Manufacturing Group is a joint venture between Norwegian, Scottish and Vietnamese companies. In Vietnam, the Scansia name has been in existence since 1990 specializing in producing outdoor furniture in imported FSC timber. Today the company has four factories in Vietnam with 3,000 employees manufacturing both indoor and outdoor lines.

Thien Thuong specializes in the manufacture of high quality wooden decorative objects including sailing boats, vehicles and aeroplanes which are exported to Europe, the Middle East and the USA.
