Nationwide Marketing Group announced that it has joined forces with the bedding industry powerhouse Dos Marcos Podcast.  The new partnership comes on the eve of the 100th episode of the category leading podcast, hosted by Mark Quinn, co-founder Spink & Co. and Mark Kinsley, President of Englander.

Launched in 2014, the podcast focuses on the mattress industry, sleep shops, retail and marketing.  “The podcast has become a campfire that people in the bedding business gather around to share ideas and connect to new thinking.  I’m grateful for all the support as we work to bring people together and serve the industry,” said Kinsley.  The podcast, which started as an experiment, has experienced fast and steady growth.  Quinn reflected, “When Kinsley approached me about doing a mattress industry podcast, I thought he was crazy.  100 episodes later, I am comfortable admitting he’s not completely off his rocker!”

As part of the partnership, Nationwide will distribute the podcast to their members via the group’s MemberNet portal, allowing access to the entertaining and informative program for dealers currently in or interested in the mattress business.  Jerry Honea, who leads NMG’s furniture and bedding team, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Nationwide is committed to providing our dealers access to impactful information to enable their success.  The partnership with the Dos Marcos Podcast will help us continue to expand how that information is offered, as the podcast is always full of great insights and ideas.  Additionally, this is a new way to reach dealers, share stories, access best practices, and it’s done in a very entertaining format.  We’re very excited about the possibilities this represents.”

On the Dos Marcos side of the relationship, co-host Quinn shared, “We wanted to partner with people that share our values and serve this industry.  Nationwide works every day to help independent dealers grow and thrive.  That’s our mission as well.  It’s a perfect fit.”

For the Dos Marcos Podcast, Nationwide is their first sponsor.  The partnership, according to NMG’s Mike Whitaker, isn’t about advertising, as he added, “This isn’t about placing a commercial for the group.  This is about facilitating a new platform for independent dealers to share their stories, and in doing so, share our story as well.  Our sole purpose is to help these entrepreneurs thrive on their own terms.  We know that many of the group provided tools and assets are now part of the story of our dealers, so we’re excited to see a wide array of Nationwide Members featured in upcoming episodes.”

The podcast can be found in iTunes Podcasts and on Google Play, as well as being available at the Dos Marcos website and for Nationwide Members, through MemberNet.
