Raffel Systems announced that it was a a Silver Sponsor for the recently held Ashley for the Arts, a three-day festival of entertainment, art, exercise, and family fun. Raffel helped to bring a little magic to the estimated 70,000 people who came to Arcadia, Wisconsin this summer for the event.

“We are proud to be part of this wonderful community effort,” said Rich Weeden, president of Raffel Systems. “In less than ten years ‘Ashley for the Arts’ has grown to be one of the state’s most important summer festivals. It’s an honor to participate.”

Conceptualized and established in 2009 by Ashley Furniture, one of Arcadia’s largest employers, Ashley for the Arts not only brings affordable world class entertainment to the small western Wisconsin town, it is also one of the state’s largest charity events, raising over $500,000 for 44 non-profit organizations, including participating schools, children’s charities and medical research.

The festival, which ran from August 8 through August 10, is held annually in Arcadia’s 54-acre Soldier’s Walk Memorial Park, the largest veterans’ memorial park outside Washington, DC. This year’s entertainment included performances by Lady Antebellum, Billy Ray Cyrus, and 3 Doors Down, plus an arts and crafts fair, circus and street performers, a classic car show, a display of hot air balloons, and a dramatic fireworks finale.
