Gabriella White, LLC, parent company to Summer Classics and Gabby, recently announced the appointment of Ashley Hullette to the role of General Manager of Manufacturing. Hullette will provide leadership to all upholstery operations for the company, in addition to overseeing cushion production at the Pelham, AL manufacturing site.
“Ashley is a highly skilled furniture professional and will bring a focus of safety, quality, and growth as we continue to lead in the outdoor space with our luxurious cushions and further establish Gabby as a dominant player in the high-end upholstery industry,” says John Lomax, Chief Operations Officer.
Their Upholstery Program is being built with a focus on speed to market. The simplified customization options and a commitment to stocking the frames and fabrics will help to ensure that as the program grows, the lead times will not. Ashley will be tasked with maintaining and implementing new quality control procedures, ensuring speed to market exceeds customer expectations and expanding the team at Claremont.
“Assimilating the new Claremont, North Carolina upholstery team has been a big accomplishment for our company,” explains William White, President. “Having Ashley spearhead our efforts – in addition to his extensive leadership experience – will only foster our plans to deliver core customer centric needs: style, comfort, performance and service,” adds White.
Ashley joins the company with 20 years of upholstery experience, working from the floor up beginning as an upholsterer in 2000 for Bradington Young. He was recruited by Ethan Allen in 2005, where he spent almost a decade with the organization. Most recently he served as General Operations Manager at William Sonoma, where he was instrumental in designing and facilitating a new upholstery plant for the company. During his tenure at William Sonoma, Hullette was responsible for managing upwards of 500 employees, as well as numerous upholstery and product lines.
Ashley and his wife Ryeleigh are native North Carolinians, and they look forward to returning to the Claremont area. They have four children, two girls (ages 12 and 5) and two boys (ages 10 and 7).
