Bob’s Discount Furniture Continues Expansion into Chicago, Midwest with Three Store Openings

Bob’s Discount Furniture, recently announced the opening of three stores, cutting the ribbon at its new locations in Calumet City, Schaumburg, and Merrillville, Ind. on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Bob’s opened its first five Chicago stores in February.

Adding 19 new stores in the past two years, Bob’s now has 73 stores in 13 states across the East Coast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions.

The three new store locations opening Thursday, May 26 are:

Grand opening celebrations will include appearances by Chicago Bears alumni players, as well as a 2016-2017 Chicago Bears season ticket giveaway. Bob’s is also opening a new store in Latham, N.Y. on May 26.

The team also partnered with Pajama Program to host a shopping spree at the Merrillville store for children from Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services; the children will pick out furniture to furnish the shelter as well as an item they can take with them when they leave the program.
